Don McFarland is in his 38th year of a very successful real estate career. He has participated as either the listing agent or the selling agent in over 1300 successful transactions.
Don began his real estate career in the Seattle area. He spent 7 years in the Puget Sound market, with the last 5 years affiliated with The Heller Company Realtors. The Heller Company originated "The Street of Dreams" - an annual show that featured 10 of the area's most prestigious builders. These builders built competing custom homes that featured cutting edge innovation, features and design. An average of 250,000 people toured these homes during the show and we generated an average of 10 custom constructed homes for each builder per show.
In January 1993, Don acquired his Idaho Broker's Real Estate License. He recently celebrated 25 years in the RE/MAX system, first with RE/MAX of Boise. Next, 18 years with RE/MAX West and he is currently Managing Broker for RE/MAX Executives in Eagle, Idaho.
Over the years, Don has represented a number of builders in new construction. However, his primary focus has been and continues to be residential resale home sales and marketing.

In 1999, he was honored as the #1 RE/MAX Agent in the State Idaho with 113 Closed Transactions. In 2003, he was inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame. In 2016, he was awarded the coveted Lifetime Achievement Award indicating he has facilitated the sale of over $140,000,000 of real estate. Don is a Lifetime member of the Boise Regional Realtor Circle of Excellence.
Don is currently chairman of the New Technology Committee of the Intermountain Multiple Listing Service.
When not actively involved in real estate, Don is an avid fly fisherman and fly tyer. He is also a Director of the Boise Gun Club and an Idaho ATA Director. His other passions include Competitive Trap Shooting, Upland Game Hunting with his Pudelpointer Rosie and getting out on his mountain bike.
